"Bridge for Peace"
CCR is so proud to have been serving the Greater Los Angeles community for the past 30 years. It has been through generous grants from DRPA funds given to Los Angeles County and administered by the Workforce Development and Community Services Department that we have been able to keep the doors open and continue to serve thousands of people each year. For this we are so very grateful.
For the past decade, CCR has relied primarily on this revenue source to make us whole or at least pay all the bills. What we have come to realize is that we need to be building our capital reserve funds much higher. We are paid by our grant in 'arrears' or after the service is provided. Having at least 6 months of reserves is ideal and we know we need to work are towards this goal. One month at a time though! One donation at a time, whatever that might be.
This is where we are asking you, the community, to engage in the 'Bridge for Peace' campaign. We would like to raise $20,000 in capital to act as the bridge that will keep the doors open so that we can continue to facilitate the amazing peace work we do in the community.
Thank you so much in advance for the support!
